Welcome to Not Just Behaviour!

We are Nicky Hutchinson and Chris Calland, teachers, coaches and education consultants. We specialise in children’s behaviour and emotional well- being and offer high quality training courses on all aspects of children’s social emotional and behavioural development.

In recent years our work has been in demand beyond the education sector and we now work in a wide range of commercial organisations, providing seminars on parenting topics and also courses on relationships and interpersonal skills in the workplace.

We are both qualified and experienced coaches and offer coaching programmes as a highly effective method of supporting individuals in schools and commercial settings to develop their skills and performance.

In addition to offering professional development to employees through coaching and training, we also provide advice and support to individual parents and families.

Nicky and Chris work in partnership. We believe that our small business offers a personal and flexible service to people. Our consultancy is based on our extensive experience of working in many different types of schools as advisory teachers for Bristol, and, more recently, in commercial organisations. We recognise the stresses that can be part of business, school or family life and our aim is to provide advice that is supportive and practical, drawing on a wide range of approaches to offer ideas and strategies which can be implemented immediately. We believe that our realistic and practical approach motivates people and empowers them to try new ideas.
